Blog Swap....

Unfortunately the blog swap has been cancelled due to the lack of people wanting to join. Never mind, might try and do another one in the future. I'm a little disappointed, but maybe i need to work on getting more followers first.

Will be back soon to tell you about the wedding fair i did xx

Swap Ladies??

I enjoyed the swap that Catherine at Mollycupcakes organised so much that I'm thinking of doing my own, a cupcake/baking themed swap. The rules are as follows:

1. 5 items (or more if you wish)
2. Must be cupcake or baking related

And it's that simple, just leave me a comment and I'll pick names at random and post them on here on 11th June. It would be great if you could post about the swap in your next blog post so we can get as many people as possible to join.

Looking forward to a yummy swap xx

Swap lovelies and yummy cakes.....

I took part in a Easter/Spring blog swap last month and i received lots of fab things. I want to say thank you so much to Catherine at Mollycupcakes and I'm sorry it's took me so long to blog about it, who would have thought looking after baby would take up so much time lol. The box was packed full of lovely things and Catherine even sent Issy a present which was sooo nice of her and Issy loves her little rabbit. I did manage to take a few pics before i ate the yummy chocolate chick. Also the spring onions have just started coming through in our raised bed.

I've been busy baking fairy cakes and taking pictures ready for the website, which is slowly getting there. Here's just a few of my creations.

I'm off now to feed my little princess and design some lovely wedding fairy cakes ready for a small wedding fayre I'm attending in June, so I'll be back soon with more pictures.

xx

(I can't believe i have been writing this blog post since last week.....)

Growing up so fast!

So I'm lovin being a Mummy and i always thought people who said they couldn't stop staring at there babies were a little crazy but I'm finding myself doing exactly that, i can't keep my eyes off my beautiful little princess. She seems to be growing up so fast, i can't believe she's a month old today. We took her to Graves Park yesterday to see the farm animals and although she slept until we got back to the car and missed it all we still had a fab time. We saw a lamb being born, lots of little piglets and some very photogenic sheep.

When I'm not being one of those crazy baby staring ladies I'm cooking up lots of ideas for the business, i have all these wonderful creations running through my head and i can't wait to put them into practice. I'm going to try out a few idea's next week for photo purposes so the diet will of course go out of the window as someone has got to eat the fairy cakes.... right?!

Also been raking my brains for advertising ideas and where to get our name out there locally without spending too much money.... so if any of you have any ideas I'd love to hear them.

We're back....

Things have been a little bit crazy at Scrumptious Treats HQ with the wonderful surprise of finding out we are going to have a new edition to the family in March we've all been busy preparing, with a little baking in between. Although I'm currently on Maternity leave i can't resist getting in the kitchen and baking lots of yummy
treats.

As extra little Christmas treats i made up boxes of our yummy Raspberry and White Chocolate Biscuits for all our friends and family, which went down very well.

With only 5 weeks to go until button is due we are all very excited, the room is nearly done (will post pics when it's complete) and i think we have everything we need. Can't quite believe there's on 5 weeks left till the big day.... very scary.

Although i have been trying to take it easy i have done a couple of cakes as favours for friends and family. I did some Christmas fairy cakes for a friend to keep her and her visitors going over the Christmas holiday.

And it was my cousins little boy's first birthday at the beginning of January so i did some jungle themed fairy cakes, which were loads of fun to make. Then last week it was her step sons birthday so i made a football cake for him. Can't wait to get back to it properly.... it will be baby in one hand and a mixer in the other.

Just ordered some sample business cards from Moo after seeing them on Sara's blog they look fab and will be perfect for when we get going again and even better they were free for 10 cards with our own images on... fab! I'll be sure to blog about them when they arrive.

I'm trying to be very organised as i know when button comes there won't be much time for anything... to start with anyway. So I've made all my 'Thank you' cards for the lovely people that buy us presents for button.
